Sorry , I wrote this right after waking up. Update: I managed to get co-op running with a RE5 Update Patch + SSE (Steam Emulator) - Comment/DM if you need specifics. I opened up RE5 using SSE, hosted a game (Online + Open party option) and invited my friend through the SSE UI. Just be sure that your friend joins before alt-tabbing as that 9enifrx.
