Hi everyone I'm new to the forum. I have a Fiat Punto Active 1.2 5dr 2005 I got it a few weeks ago and feel like I've been filling it up a lot! I put £20 in the other day and pulled up at a multi-storey carpark. Nov 22, 2015. #3. When it primes ok, the car starts and runs just fine. When it doesn't prime, the car starts but stalls after a couple of seconds once the fuel in the line is used up. It won't start again after that, of course, because there's no fuel. When I can convince the pump to prime, by hitting it, everything is ok again.
